thankfully people like you have become the minority in this country and although your type is often very vocal, i am confident you and your narrow-minded peers shall eventually fall by the wayside. While i do consider myself a liberal i am also a patriot who loves my country. i know you must find that to be a contradiction in terms. yet i would not support the loss of the olympics even if it was W who was trying to get them here. i supported the previous president when he surged more troops into Iraq(and got into a few arguments with like-minded people who disagreed with the tactic). i knew that we had made a mistake going there in the first place but in that case a troop surge seemed an appropriate strategy to pacify that ridiculous country we were dumb enough to invade.

you cling to your fear to the point of stupidity. oh sure kids singing songs to that uppity president that acorn elected is clearly similar to the rise of facism in NAZI germany. where the hell do you get off sir? the simple fact that it was not required by the people who perhaps stupidly organized their students to sing these songs, which really wasn't saying all that much other than that we should help each other. and pay absolutely no attention the previous administration having songs sang to their praise during the katrina debacle. either you are ignorant, hypocritical or a coward. take your pick

as to your redskins comments. while i don't really care if they remain the redskins and I was against U of I getting rid of the chief, who i thought respected the native american traditions not made fun of our destruction of their entire society, but you seem to have to go that extra step to prove you are an ass and caricaturize their entire society as casino-owning drunks. have you ever been to a reservation? they are horrible places and the American-Indian culture has greatly suffered as a result of my ancestors and likely yours. I'm not saying the indians are making a good contribution to society, in fact i would agree that they have largely become leeches off the rest of us and that it would be prudent to stop the federal support to which they have become addicted to, yet comments like yours do not help the discussion

Ultimately looking at the rest of your small-minded opinions, it is easy to tell where you get the bulk of your information. clearly you are confused by the lies and hatred of the (white) right-wing and are going along for the ride. people like you do not want to build up as much as they want to tear down. your fear can be sensed. your time will pass. relax and enjoy life, work and love. if you are a christian, perhaps try living how christ actually advocated and not how he himself said that his message would be perverted.
